This is where you can submit your stories. We also accept dramatic texts in this category. The prose category is divided into three age ranges: 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18. Three participants will be nominated in each category.
This is where you can submit your poems. Three authors will be nominated in this category.
The SprachRäume category represents the diversity of voices present in contemporary literature. This category awards prizes for texts by children and teenagers between 10 and 18 years of age who have grown up multilingual in Germany and German-speaking countries. Texts of all languages can be submitted in this category.
In addition, the Junior THEO is awarded to a participant aged under 10.
This year’s theme:
You can participate as long as you are not older than 18. Up for grabs is an invitation to writing workshops and the Schreibende Schüler e.V. (Student Writers), as well as other prizes such as book vouchers. The nominated texts will all be published in a small book, the THEO Reader.
Please send us your text(s) in a Word document using our submission form. Texts must be no longer than three pages (if your text is longer, send an excerpt).
For poetry: maximum of five poems.
